VND 20 trillion for My Thuy seaport in Quang Tri

Quang Tri People’s Committee on December 28 announced that it had agreed with the Maritime Consultancy Joint Stock Company to build the My Thuy seaport.

According to the project design, the area reserved for the project is Hai An and Hai Khe communes in Hai Lang district. It covers 913 hectares, including 340 hectares of water surface. Total investment for the project is put at VND 20 trillion.

Construction of My Thuy seaport will help boost socio-economic development in the central province of Quang Tri, increasing the economic efficiency of the East-West economic corridor and facilitating economic development in the neighbouring country of Laos as well as other countries in the region.
