China's CEOs – Voice of Experience and Dreams of Quality for Vietnam

This was the theme of a seminar held by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) and the Trade and Business Information Center (TBIC) on December 2nd, in Hanoi.

The seminar was attended by representatives from MoST, TBIC and the Hanoi Businesswomen’s Association, and especially by two well-known professors, Dr. Juan Antonio Fernandez, Professor of Management at CEIBS (the China-Europe International Business School) Shanghai, China and Dr. Nguyen Huu Thai Hoa, an expert on business management and quality control.

Participants at the seminar shared their experiences and lessons learned from Chinese businesses managers, as well as how to build effective quality control measures. Moreover, the seminar also pointed out weaknesses in controlling quality in Vietnam, and introduced modern management quality models to help Vietnamese businesses set up and develop the best quality methods to improve competitiveness in both Vietnam’s domestic market as well as the international market.

Professor Juan Antonio Fernandez delivered several speeches on management measures for Chinese staff, working measures with international partners, and measures against intellectual property rights violation.

Dr. Nguyen Huu Thai Hoa introduced several modern quality control management methohds for sustainable development, and how to overcome shortcomings in managing quality control for Vietnamese businesses. (CPV)
