Hon La Harbour officially opened

The Ministry of Transport, in conjunction with the People’s Committee of the Central Province of Quang Binh and the Viet Nam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), officially announced, on November 28th, the opening of the Hon La Harbour, which is located in Quang Dong Commune, Quang Trach District, Quang Binh Province.

The harbour, built on a total area of 9.4 hectares at a cost so far of over VND 162 billion, will be able to receive 10,000 DWT vessels in the first phase.

The port will also be a gateway to the eastern region of four provinces of Vietnam, Laos and Thailand in the Mekong sub-region.
