Worleyparsons PetroVietnam Engineering Co to make debut

The National Oil and Gas Corp (PetroVietnam) recently announced that on July 8 it would officially made the debut ceremony the Worleyparsons PetroVietnam Engineering Joint Stock Co (WPV) in HCM City.

WPV will be established with five big shareholders namely the PetroVietnam Technical Service Corp (PTSC), PetroVietnam Exploration and Production Co (PVEP), PV Gas Co (PVGas), PetroVietnam Installation and Construction Joint Stock Co (PVC) and Australia-based WorleyPasons Sea Pty Limited.

According to Timothy Ducan Elms, WPV's general director, in the first year of operation, WPV would employ about 100 specialists and engineers that could be 600 people by 2010. (TBKTVN)
