Samsung life insurance sets foot in Vietnam

Samsung Life Insurance Company will open a representative office in Viet Nam on July 15. The company received a licence from the Finance Ministry on April 17, 2008.

The office will study various business models compatible with the local market and seek investment opportunities in Viet Nam.

Samsung Life Insurance Company is one of the key subsidiaries of the Samsung Group with revenue of US$ 27.6 billion in 2007. The company is holding 28% of the Korean market share.

With its office in Viet Nam, the company will have 11 offices operational in seven countries. (TBKTVN)
