The Vietnam-European Union Business Forum (VEUBF) has published a book providing business administration guidelines for Vietnamese companies with the aim of enhancing local businesses’ competitiveness during the global economic integration process.
The book, published in Vietnamese and English, provides general knowledge international practices in the field of business administration and analyses related legal documents.
At the book’s debut ceremony in Hanoi on June 25, VEUBF Chairman Alain Cany said in the context of the unstable global economy, it is essential for Viet Nam to apply the highest international standards regarding business administration.
He expressed his hope that the book will help the private economic sector realise the importance of business administration. Better business administration will in turn boost the businesses’ contribution to the sustainable development of the economy as well as enhance their capacity to foresee difficulties, he said.
The book will be introduced to Ho Chi Minh City business circle on July 8.
A total of 3,000 copies will be distributed to domestic companies.
The VEUBF, set up by the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) and the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in 2006, serves as a high-level dialogue channel about issues relating to commercial and investment relations between Viet Nam and 27 European Union member countries. (VNA)
