Shipbuilder launches fourth 53,000 tonnes vessel

Nam Trieu Shipbuilding Industrial Corporation, NASICO, on June 22 successfully launched the fourth 53,000-tonne vessel built on order of a UK client.

This is a modern Handymax bulk carrier of 190 metres long, 32.26 metres wide and 17.5 metres high. It is equipped with an engine of 9,480 KW.

The Norway's DNV classed ship is designed by Denmark's Carl Bro company.

The double-hulled bulk carrier has five bulk holds with total capacity of 65,700 cubic metres and four cranes with handling capacity of 36 tonnes.
