New travel insurance on offer

Those heading abroad for their vocation can now enjoy their holidays a bit more with the security of travel insurance, thanks to a new deal inked in Ho Chi Minh City on June 12.

ACE Insurance Company signed a business cooperation agreement with Amadeus Vietnam (AV) and will offer its “Global Travel Insurance” packages through AV representative, TransViet Travel Group.

The packages include worldwide travel protection and assistance for emergencies and inconveniences, offering customers a range of benefits including insurance cover for health, personal luggage loss, and even cover in the case of terrorism.

Additional travel-related insurance, such as Group Travel Insurance for Outbound Tours and Overseas Student Assist Insurance, is also being made available.

ACE’s country director Christopher Twomey said travel demands in Vietnam are growing fast and he believed ACE’s travel insurance products will help improve the quality of travel for customers.

TransViet Travel Group Chairman Nguyen Hai said ACE’s new products will help TransViet improve its prestige and win customers’ belief. (VNA)
