Litchi exported to Chinese market

In recent days, a large amount of Vietnamese litchi has been exported to China through the Lao Cai border gate.

Each day, about 40 tonnes of litchi produced in Luc Ngan district in the northern province of Bac Giang are transported to the market.

A kilo of litchi costs around 10,000 VND. These fruits are protected carefully so that their flavour and taste can be kept for a long time.

According to Doan Binh Khoi, head of the border gate’s economic office, a large amount of litchi from the province is to be exported to China. The functional offices of the border gate will create favourable conditions for businesses to export fruits to the market. (Tuoi Tre)
