Export opportunities remain

Though confronting adversity, the current economic situation still has good opportunities for Vietnamese exporters, affirmed Mr Truong Trong Nghia, director of the HCM City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC).

He was speaking at a seminar “Export opportunities for Vietnamese producers” held on June 25 by the US’ Global Sources, one of the leading trade promotion corporations in Asia.

According to Nghia, boosting exports is one of the key measures to curb inflation and Vietnamese exporters are being encouraged and provided with favourable conditions to carry out their work.

During the seminar, Ms. Sarah Benecke, Global Sources managing director, said that the corporation would act as a bridge for Vietnamese exporters to build up their trade names. (Tuoi Tre)
