Ten retail markets in inner HCM City basically removed

More than 300 small traders from five markets in inner Ho Chi Minh City started their trading activities normally at the two wholesale markets in the suburban areas on May 15. Thus, the city has basically completed its plan to remove ten markets in inner city to the outskirts.

The retailers had earlier carried their trading operations at Tran Chanh Chieu market in District 5; Pham Van Hai market in Tan Binh district; Bau Nai market in District 12; An Lac market in Binh Tan district and Hoc Mon market in Hoc Mon district. Now, their new trading locations are Binh Dien and Hoc Mon wholesale markets.
